We were facing each other, and I was embarrassed to take the first shot, but after overcoming this fear, I turned on the camera, sat down, focused on her, and saw her smiling as she walked toward me. It was one of the most pleasant moments in my life.

It was a cloudy and wet day, and I was strolling around the city only to find some photographic opportunities. Perhaps my mood wasn’t right, or the absence of light rendered everything flat and boring, so nothing courted my eyes. Why did I capture this particular image? The answer is that I was captivated by her scent, the fragrance she wore, or perhaps a combination of both.

This couple was deeply immersed in the process. I watched for about a minute until I realized I had to take this shot. I took out my camera, raised it to focus, and the process was interrupted by my presence and cam. The shot was taken; I thanked them, raised my left hand, and went to look for people behind the windows further on.
